The 2nd Quarter of the annual CWC/NEC meeting took place on the 5th of August, 2022 at the famous Conference Hotel in Abeokuta, the capital city of Ogun State.
The CWC Meeting
The CWC Officers held a meeting at exactly 3PM, where various issues were deliberated on (issues concerning various Units and the way forward). Also, discussions and positions were taken which would be presented during the NEC meeting for further discussions and ratifications.
Gala Night
Few hours after the CWC meeting, its was time to unwind and party. The CWC & NEC members were in attendance. We also had to honor of having Two (2) past Presidents of ASSBIFI (Comrade Sanni & Comrade Salako), who graced the occasion with their presence.
The NEC Meeting
On Saturday 6th August, 2022, all officials gathered for the NEC Meeting. The National President, Com. Oyinkan Olasanoye officially opened the window for campaign to members vying for various position in the coming election. She advised free and fair election to members vying for one position or another.
Also, she advised whoever takes over from her, should make his/her primary interest in promoting the association and not for monetary gains.
